The Agawam and similarities to certain other global religions’ by Mr I Bishop
It is a slim cardboard covered book which contains mostly a collection of stories from world travels over the last century discussing religious tales about a ‘Master beyond time.’ But there’s also details about the Agawam and a description of a ritual translated as ‘feeding the void’ and how it needs human life to be offered – ‘to complete the contradiction that who is timeless acknowledges the cessation of time of those who are not even sparks in the dark. But by ritual ignition they can shine and centre the world and avoid it passing through the gate’. It also contains a reference to the Cult of Tawil at’Umr – discussed by Van Hendriks in ‘Writings on Islamic Mathematics’.
